Single Step’s mission is to help LGBTI (“Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual, Trans and Intersex”) youth, their families, friends and allies in Bulgaria in the process of recognizing, coming out and affirming their sexual orientation and gender identity. Our programs and activities will tackle the root causes of the problems by focusing on practical support via various channels: a telephone hotline, online chat, a community center with one-on-one sessions with trained professionals, peer groups, and a venue for community events.
