It is indeed a great honour for us have a brand presence in 32 countries including the UK, USA, Canada, Japan, Australia and the Middle East etc. Lanka Canneries (Private) Limited, established by Mr. R.H. Basset, a British Civil Servant in the 1930’s is the successor to the Marketing Department aka “MD”. The initial stages of the fruit processing was facilitated at Narahenpita, Colombo. With the importing of machinery from UK, USA and Europe we were able to expand our factories to Attanagalla with the latest machinery from Europe. State of the art fully automated modern manufacturing machinery and the finest fruits and vegetables are used for our products. We strictly adhere to quality and our products are produced under stringent quality control standards with certification of HACCP and ISO22000, awarded by SGS and endorsed by UKAS Management Systems.
