The Silk Road International Film Festival® (丝绸之路国际电影节) celebrates cinema presenting international films with a special Silk Road selection of films from countries, which were once part of the historical network of the Silk Road ancient trade routes which focuses in particular on Asian, Arab, Persian, Middle Eastern, African, Mediterranean and European cinema. Founded in 2012, the festival takes place yearly in Dublin, Ireland. The 7th Silk Road International Film Festival will take place in February 2019.
