The Chemical & Physical Society was founded in 1876, fifty years after the establishment of University College. In modern times, we are the departmental society of UCL Chemistry, hosting academic and social events for students, staff, and curious members of the public. Our main events are our weekly academic talks, taking place on a Tuesday evening.
