Sharif Entrepreneurship Center has been founded in 1379(2000 A.M) as the first Entrepreneurship Center in Iran. The main mission of this center is promoting entrepreneurship spirit among students, professors and also graduates of university and increasing general and technical knowledge about business and optimizing the use of abilities of members of Sharif university`s society in order to develop knowledge-based businesses. Some of our Programs: Sharif entrepreneurship center has divided its main activities in two major group “culture making and promotion” and “developing abilities and capabilities of entrepreneurship”. Here are some of the most important activities of this center in these two groups. a) Culture making and promotion • Publishing “thirty entrepreneurs” book series annually ( 8 books has been published and experiences of 240 entrepreneurs of graduated students of Sharif university) • Holding successful entrepreneurs lecture meetings (my future way program) • Compilation Of technical books of entrepreneurship • Publishing the technical student magazine of “growth and entrepreneurship” annually • Supporting events, festivals and ideation, innovation and other contests related to entrepreneurship • Matchmaking qualified students of Sharif University Of Technology with companies in need of those skills by a job finding portal b) Developing abilities and capabilities of entrepreneurship • Holding different regular courses related to entrepreneurship and business development (twice a month) • Holding “learning together” meeting by students with the goal of developing speech skills, self-confidence and also increasing information • Holding annual Sharif Business Development and entrepreneurship festival (VCCup) • developing job skills (career school): evaluating and teaching job skills • Designing, launching and supporting knowledge based ….. • Founding technical library of entrepreneurship (book and CD)
