How We Started Granite Web was started in 2000, right before the DOTCOM crash affecting many large online operations, during which many of them shut down their operations. We started as a web design shop, performing general "webmaster" duties for clients including website design, basic SEO and web hosting. Over time, we have added many skills and services to fill the needs of our growing list of clients. A Family Affair We have been in business and have been family owned/operated for over 15 years. Brothers John and Joe, the 2 principals of our company, have over 37 years combined experience in online marketing, web development, web hosting and networking.
