The Sioux Falls Hope Coalition focuses on narrowing the achievement gap in our community through one simple strategy: Ensuring that every child gets a chance to attend preschool. We raise funds for scholarships so every child in the Sioux Falls metro area can be prepared for kindergarten by attending a prequalified, quality preschool. We strive to narrow the opportunity gap by assuring all children in the region can prepare for success by providing the opportunity to attend preschool regardless of their families ability to pay tuition. The Sioux Falls Hope Coalition serves families at 185% poverty level and below. Therefore our families typically don't qualify for federal programs such as Head Start but can't afford the tuition for preschool.
