The national pharmacy association representing the professional and proprietary interests of privately-held (independent) community pharmacists through legislative and regulatory advocacy; pharmacy management resources and support; the provision of advanced technology solutions to help pharmacists efficiently identify patients' medication-related problems and address them with clinical interventions to improve patient health outcomes and lower healthcare costs in partnership with patients’ physicians, other healthcare providers, employers and healthcare plans; and the cultivation of future generations of independent community pharmacists.
