And I Stand (i.e. AIS, &IS) is a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization that focuses on challenges and life changing situations that can affect one’s well being in minority communities. While this organization targets the black community, this platform is used to help all people of color (POC) be empowered to stand against the constraints of mental health issues, rape/sexual assault, domestic violence, and alcohol/drug influence through advocacy, education, and support. In addition, And I Stand collaborates with subject matter experts through the AIS Support Circle Network, that have years of experience providing services (e.g. counseling and resources) to assist with overcoming the above barriers plaguing minorities. Our AIS Support Circle Network provides individuals with services, tools, and a safe space free of judgement but filled with love to aid in the healing process. At And I Stand, we believe that despite adversities with a strong support system centered around inspiration, compassion, and liberation, the will to rise and STAND is achievable beyond measures.
