A little bit about me ... I have lived in Keller, TX for 11 years with my husband, daughter and son. I grew up in the North Richland Hills, TX and received my accounting degree from UT-Arlington. I held several positions in a large, multi-office medical practice, including as a Controller for many years. These positions allowed me to be involved in all aspects of accounting, including Financial Reporting, Payroll, A/R, A/P, audit preparation, etc. I have also spent several years at a local CPA firm where I continued working in all areas of accounting. In addition, I oversaw the accounting side of the practice including supervising the other accountants and creating the processes and procedures for that department. These positions have allowed me to train, grow and lead many great accountants. In my spare time, I enjoy spending time with my family, reading and scrapbooking (though I do not do that nearly as much as I would like). I am an Aggie by marriage. My husband, Kevin, is a grad from Texas A&M University (Class of 2000). We have been Aggie football season ticket holders for many years. Now that our daughter, Kylie, is a proud Texas A&M student (Class of 2024), I do not see that changing anytime soon. Our son, Gavin, is a 3rd grader at our local Keller elementary school. Over the years I have held treasurer positions for PTAs in three schools, the high school athletic booster club and our local National Charity League. I enjoy volunteering and getting to know the ins and outs of these organizations.
