Visual Ministry Consulting was started by Nicholas Dertien with the belief that dynamic tangle visual art impacts a spiritual experience in ways that are both needed in our current worship spaces and is outside the scope of digital media (A/V). Our goal is to make original visual work that serves to add vibrancy within the life of a church. God became tangible in the form of Christ, we try to honor this miracle through our projects and installations. Visual Ministry Consulting proudly serves congregations in the greater Austin area. Nicholas Dertien has worked as a professional artist for the last fifteen years. He attended the University of Texas and Rhode Island School of Design where he received his MFA. He started Visual Ministry Consulting so he could utilize his passion and talents serving ministries.
