SCITTELS stands for School Centred Initial Teacher Training In East London Schools. We are a consortium of schools within East London who work in close partnership to provide outstanding initial teacher training, leading to the award of Qualified Teacher Status (QTS). SCITTELS has always been graded as an Outstanding teacher training provider by Ofsted and is therefore an excellent option for anyone looking to get the very best training to become a teacher. We offer a number of different Initial Teacher Training programmes at SCITTELS. We have three different postgraduate routes: Schools Direct Salaried, Schools Direct PGCE and SCITTELS PGCE. All of our postgraduate courses lead to QTS (Qualified Teacher Status). We are also very excited to announce that from September 2020 we will be welcoming our very first cohort of undergraduate recruits for our new 3 year undergraduate course. This course will not only lead to an undergraduate qualification in Early Years and Primary Education, but will also lead to QTS as well.
