LocumsOntario is a web-based Locums matching service for Ontario Physicians. Using a combination of text and graphics-based parameters, Locum Physicians are matched with interested Doctors. The site uses information from the Ministry of Health and Long Term Care – Dividing the province into Local Health Integrated Networks; and from HealthForceOntario – Indicating which communities are eligible for underserviced stipends. Physicians may register and post ads for free. However, LocumsOntario is designed around a matching algorithm that rates specific parameters to create a list of Locum-Doctor matches – Rating them as fair, good or excellent. LocumsOntario is the future of Locum matching in the province!
