A new company, TdFHUB2014 Ltd, has been created to oversee the event delivery of the Tour de France from Leeds up to the M25 and via contract within London. The company is a partnership between UK Sport, the government’s major sport event agency, the Leeds City Region/Sheffield City Council and Welcome to Yorkshire. The key objective of the company is to create the best possible arena/stage to enable the ASO to deliver the most exciting Grand Départ and Stage 3 of the Tour de France ever.
