Retazo is a platform for the production and promotion of circular fashion in Puerto Rico, USA We offer services to designers, brands and factories so they can achieve circularity. We want Puerto Rico to become a hub for high end ready to wear manufacturing, the circular way. In order for that dream to become a reality, we tackle these fronts: Education & Training: This is the first step for pret-a-porter manufacturing in Puerto Rico; creating the appropriate ecosystem for designers in the island to thrive and for stateside brands to come produce here. Retazo is a circular training program, we teach factories new ways of producing so they can diversify their offering by capitalizing on what they already know and combining it with our training. Using design and systems thinking tools, workers, managers and designers learn the best way to collaborate. Always thinking of the triple bottom line, People, Profit, Planet Product Development & Production Management: After our training phase is complete. We will offer assistance to brands interested in doing business in Puerto Rico. We manage the manufacturing and help navigate the exports. We are with you every step of the way in your product development journey. Once you are ready, our Retazo certified factories can manufacture the goods. Sales Representation: We want fashion designers in Puerto Rico to have successful long careers. They need to grow their businesses outside of Puerto Rico as well. We offer collective trade show representation for international events and a virtual showroom and assistance navigating the wholesale world.
