Mexico Pacific's anchor project, Saguaro Energia, is a 14.1 mtpa West Coast North American LNG export facility located in Puerto Libertad, Sonora, Mexico. MPL is responsibly bridging U.S. natural gas to Asian markets, with closer proximity to Asia resulting in significant shipping advantages including shorter transit time and ~45% lower shipping costs when compared to U.S. Gulf of Mexico projects, and access to prolific, cost-effect gas supply from nearby Permian and surrounding basins, avoiding the need to drill for new supply. MPL’s strategic location and design characteristics easily accommodate expansions up to at least a ~28 mtpa facility.
