Founded in 2015, this children's charity is based on the remote island of Koh Tao, in Thailand. The school has successfully been educating both local Thai, Burmese migrant and expat children together. The school helps many families in need to gain education sponsorships for their children through social media platforms. Expatriate families help to cover the cost of running the school by paying full fees as do tourists visiting the island. This unique school is fulfilling a need that is present in many developing nations where tourists and expatriate markets can help to offset the cost of an international education for low income families. KTP believes the best way to break the poverty cycle is not just education, but to create life long learners that can independently continue to learn and grow outside of the school environment.
