IPT Technology
www.ipt-technology.comIPT Technology was founded in 1996 as Europe’s first induction charging and wireless power transmission solutions producer. We built future-oriented technological solutions from our headquarters in the German city of Efringen-Kirchen, protected by more than 1,200 patents. IPT is focused on sustainable products, resource-efficient production, ethical business conduct, a responsible supply chain and, last but not least, a great place to work for our employees. IPT offers user-friendly, cost-effective, and safe alternatives for sustainable charging of electric vehicles and power supply solutions for industrial applications. Our systems are ideally suited for material handling equipment, warehouses, airports, factory floors and similar places where forklifts, robots and other lifting solutions are used. We contributed to developing so-called “en route” wireless charging, where vehicles are charged during short halts at bus stops or ferry quays. Our most future-oriented technology lies in the revolutionary e-mobility concept, including high-power wireless dynamic charging electric cars and trucks while driving. In 2022, IPT joined a large global induction heating specialist EFD Induction to form Evolgy; an international group focused on various applications of induction technology. IPT Technology is owned by Arendals Fossekompani.
