el dot is a design firm cultivating a positive approach toward our environment and its inhabitants. Our focus is on the mindful design of handcrafted furniture made from renewable and chemical free materials, produced by local and global artisans. We started as a Los Angeles based studio with Founders Lishu and Leonardo Rodriguez, both environmental artists and designers. Originally from Nepal and Venezuela, our interests and inspirations vary from the ingenuity and wisdom of indigenous cultures to technology and the potential of global collaboration. el dot is now based outside of Seattle and is Certified as a “Beneficial” company for our commitment towards the utilization of sustainable materials, employment generation and nurturing of craft traditions
