Statement: "Views expressed by any individual working for and on behalf of the NTIA do not in any way represent the opinions and views of the NTIA, our members and associates. The NTIA continues to work towards a sustainable night time economy, by supporting businesses within the industry and striving to ensure that the sector has a platform for cultural and economic success in the future." - Mike Kill, CEO NTIA British nightlife is under threat. Increasingly strict licensing laws, rising property prices, new housing too close to existing venues, and a lack of understanding about the benefits of night culture have all played their part in eroding our nightlife. The NTIA has been set up by industry venue owners and stakeholders in order to protect UK nightculture, stop the unfair closures of venues across the country and promote the awesome economic, social & cultural benefits of having a thriving night time eco system. We are a membership organisation representing over 100 nightclubs, live music venues from around the country and we are the voice of the night time community. We lobby the government, authorities and other key departments to change policy and regulations. We fund research to bring awareness to key issues that impact the industry as a whole, and finally we run campaigns to support either key venues in trouble, or to put pressure on authorities to address certain key issues.
