We equip and connect faith-based nonprofit leaders to transform the lives of those in need. Many organizations begin with a spark of inspiration and a passion to serve a particular need in the community. But having a passion is not always enough for survival and success -- to thrive, organizations must focus on many things, not just providing a service to their clients. Founded in 2007 in Atlanta, GA, the LEAD Institute has been empowering faith-called nonprofit leaders for more than a decade. LEAD strives to be a trusted resource, providing programs that are designed to equip, connect, and transform nonprofit leaders and organizations. On April 1, 2021, the LEAD Institute merged with Orchard. LEAD and Orchard have a long history of collaborative work spanning over a decade. Our working partnership led us to conversations about the complimentary strategic visions of our organizations. We saw an incredible opportunity to expand the reach of the LEAD Institute's work to impact more nonprofit leaders.
