Choice Pet Products, formerly Complete Animal Nutrition Distribution, was founded in 2014 by a Deputy Sheriff and his wife who had a specific interest in dog food nutrition through time spent in the working dog community. It came to light there was a lack of representation in the industry for many high-quality dog food brands. In 2019, Complete Animal Nutrition and SmartPetLove merged bringing together organizations with similar values and complimentary resources creating a new entity with new ideas.
