THERMAX is a condition monitoring and proactive maintenance service that locates, identifies and provides corrective actions to eliminate potential equipment breakdown. This extends the life of capital equipment and reduces the risks of accidents and costly down time. THERMAX is to be used as a preventative maintenance tool by maintenance staff to assist them in planning repair work, and by management to obtain an assessment of plant condition in order to ensure minimum expenditure on labour and materials. It also ensures optimal operating performance and maintenance of capital equipment. The objective of the survey is to provide information to the maintenance planner to aid in scheduling the repair of faults before they lead to breakdowns, unscheduled stoppages or electrical fires.
