In 2002 SIM S.p.A. acquired GICO S.p.A. through a merger operation: this has added an important background that has allowed SIM S.p.A. to specialize not only in the field of the M&E, but also in the field of engineering and institutional strengthening. The Company mission is to contribute and increase the usefulness of the institutions and to promote the civil society development. SIM S.p.A. is active in international technical assistance programmes supporting Central and Local Administrations, Public Agencies, and Local Communities. The Company has thorough knowledge, expertise, and contacts enabling it to be a veritable “bridge” between different cultures experiences and knowhow. The Company’s capital is Euro 900.000, fully paid up and subscribed by the shareholders. SIM S.p.A. head office in Rome serves as the main point of contact for Clients and Partners, and provides overall directions to the overseas branches in Afghanistan, Albania, Kazakhstan and Peru. SIM S.p.A. is a Quality Company as per UNI EN ISO: 9001: 2008 Quality Italia and IQNet. Since 2006 SIM S.p.A. has assumed the Social Responsibility Code and Ethical Code in accordance to D.Lgs. 231/2001. The Society has been a charter member of the European Evaluation Society (1994).
