Greener is Cleaner is a youth-led environmental organization that aims to empower youth worldwide to take action for the environment and thus their futures. We value solidarity and collective action to achieve climate justice. "The power in people is stronger than the people in power." Greener is Cleaner works toward the achievement of Sustainable Development Goals 11, 12, and 13 with the power of 17: partnerships for the goals. Our main targets are SDG 13.2 and 13.3, which address the integration of climate change measures in policies and the improvement in education and awareness-raising. Although we are based in South Korea, our team and audience come from different parts of the world. We have a total of 70 members, 49 nationally and 21 internationally. Since 2018, we involved over 500 youths in our campaigns and projects and partnered up with 6 organizations. Our projects include Eco Loci (a virtual conference for discussions on environmental issues and solutions), Eco-Schools, community clean-ups, bi-weekly podcasts, weekly website blogs, annual International SDG Summit, eco-club lesson plans, policy proposals, and more.
