Virtuosi was founded in late March 2020 that provides free, virtual music mentorship sessions for young musicians through high school/college volunteers. As of November 2020, there are 100+ mentors covering 14 instruments, with over 300+ families participating from across 8 towns in Boston, 10 states, 18 cities, and 5 countries. The program strengthens the musicality of both the mentee and mentor as students are paired up with experienced and advanced high school musicians. We uphold our mission to share our stories as performers, give advice, and most importantly, guide and help younger musicians who wish to further their musical journeys during the COVID-19 pandemic in every way possible.
