Patapia provides refugee women low-interest business loans and an empowerment program to start and run their own SMEs. The loans have flexible repayment periods and require no collateral but rather we created a system where the women keep each other accountable. Our empowerment programs support the women to gain skills, generate and structure business ideas, and gain financial literacy. The program also includes a mentoring program where the women are matched with top-notch mentors who guide in the setting up and growth of the women's' businesses. Through cloud-based software, the women can check their status, save, borrow and withdraw their money using their phones.
