Gujarat Employers’ Organisation (GEO) was conceived in 1979 – 80, with view to promote solidarity amongst employers and to facilitate cordial relationship between employers and employees. GEO strives to build amicable work relations, enriches human skills and attitudes, provides a platform to connect and collaborate, addresses critical concerns jointly and develops a harmonious industrial environment. These endeavors ensure the path to progress and prosperity through co-operation. GEO has focused its aims & objectives to face the new challenges of industry. It has reoriented itself from Industrial Relation (IR) to Human Resource Development (HRD) so as to provide expert legal advice and assist in the selection of personnel, training and development of human resources, acquisition of knowledge, improvement of skills and efficiency and bringing about a change in work attitudes. To keep pace with rapid changes around the country, GEO provides services like Time & Motion studies, Psychometric Tests, Aptitude & Attitude Tests, implementation of 5-S, Kaizen, Lean manufacturing & other quality tools. It also tries to maintain an association of all industries situated within Gujarat, solves IR issues in lawful and constitutional manner and disseminates useful information connected with trade and industry acquired through State and Central Governments and other sources. GEO is in the service of industrial sector for last 32 years.
