The mission of the Conklin Center is to help blind children and adults with additional disabilities be independent and contributing citizens. Our vision is to eliminate all barriers separating people who are blind from full community participation. Our purpose is to reduce or eliminate dependence on institutional or home-bound care and prepare those we serve with the living and working skills needed to exercise maximum choice in their lives and participate in and enrich the community.
