The aim of the APPB is to inform, support, represent and promote marinas as partners in the economic development of the Littoral, whatever the size, structure or mode of management of the port. The Brittany Marina Association (APPB) was created in 1992 and brings together many local elected representatives and port managers from the Côtes d'Armor, Finistère, Morbihan, Ille-et-Vilaine and Loire-Atlantique. The APPB represents 85 members with 45,000 berths (on pontoons, moorings and on land).
