The UBC Dollar Project aims to encourage youths to actively participate in society and make a difference in today’s world. Our eventual goal is to collect a dollar from every single member of the growing UBC community and donate the funds to charitable causes and non-profitable organizations. The money we raise will go towards a charity that represents all or part of the three major components of our world – ecosystems, animals, and humans. We firmly believe in the integral nature of these components and that together, they make a significant impact on the world. A charity will be chosen annually through voting and collected funds will be donated to those charities at the end of the year. - A Dollar can make all the difference.
