Found in 1996, Angel Flight NE (AFNE) coordinates free air transportation for children and adults so they can access life-saving medical care outside of their geographic area. Celebrating our 26th year of service, we have flown over 15 million miles, delivering 100,000+ patients to 750 medical centers throughout the United States. We provide our free service for as long and as often as a patient needs our assistance whether that is one flight or hundreds. With 400+ volunteer pilots who donate their planes, fuel, time and compassion along with our corporate aviation partners, JetBlue and Cape Air ,and earth angels who provided free ground transportation to and from airports to medical facilities, we take the worry out of a patient's travel and let them focus on what is important - getting well!
