Education is a very complex and challenging task. It must bring out the best in the child by a harmonious development of this body mind and soul. An educational institution is a sacred temple providing its budding stars such opportunities as may enable them to blossom at zenith. It was this noble idea mixed with the sense of patriotism that inspired Prof. Gurdev Sahal Sh. Tarsem Aggarwal FCA Sh. Vinod Bansal to hand over the School to the managing Committee St. Manus Convent School Shahkot in Jan. 1982. Now the Managing Committee running two schools affiliated to C.B.S.E. Delhi( Code No 1630559) and P.S.Ed.B. Mohali(J-6332). LOCATION AND BUILDING The school was started in a rented building on 1st Jan 1980. It made rapid progress. In 1988 the school was shifted to the new building on the Moga Road where it stands majestically today. The school covers a campus of about 3 acres. There are good play grounds a big auditorium measuring 150 X 60 and lawns. A separate building for science laboratory has been constructed. AIMS AND OBJECTIVES OF THE SCHOOL ARE 1. Spoken English is compulsory for all in school campus. 2. To make an effort to live up to the school motto Fortuna Favet Fortibus. It means that one should work hard and fortune will smile on him. 3. To make a wholesome personality to inculcate in students the spirit of sacrifice and selfless service for the sake of their Motherland.
