The Expertise Centre for Forensic Psychiatry (EFP) was founded in 2002 as a joint initiative of the Dutch Ministry of Justice, Ministry of Health, Wellbeing and Sport, and twelve high security Forensic Psychiatric Hospitals. The Expertise Center Forensic Psychiatry brings together the knowledge and skills of scientists, professionals and administrators in the field of forensic care, and adds its expertise in the field of project management and implementation.
