We are looking to acquire established and profitable small businesses with historical EBITDA probably in the 500K to 2M$ range. The fact that we are planning to actively manage these companies leads to our particular interest in companies located in New England or companies elsewhere with strategic plans to expand here. In this last case, we would have particular relevance for French companies ready for expansion in the US market. Because of our active management model, we are looking for situations where for reason of retirement or otherwise, the ownership is contemplating a change in top level management. For the same reason, we will focus our capital investments and management time in businesses with strong mid management and a stable employee base. Our past experiences as active investors in multiple startups and young companies can be the specifically useful in scenarios of growth by acquisitions. That makes companies that could be used as platforms for such strategies especially attractive to us.
