Back in 2012, GreenBroz CEO Cullen Raichart noticed a big problem evolving in the legal cannabis space. He saw that cannabis cultivators when processing their harvest, were constantly left at the mercy of migrant trimming crews or sub-par automated trimming machines. Cullen noticed that the entire process of cannabis harvesting would need to be improved or flat-out re-invented if the industry wanted to evolve and become a lasting industry in America. So Cullen hit the drawing board, slowly but surely developing machine after machine that would allow cultivators of all shapes and sizes to compete in an ever more competitive cannabis market, all without breaking the bank. This idea of affordable automation is something that hits close to home with Cullen. Growing up, Cullen's parents owned a printing business. Eventually, his parents decided to make a big bet on themselves and purchased a very expensive (and huge) printing machine. This machine would allow them to produce more work, but to cover the cost of the machine meant obtaining more customers. So, as the company grew, profits stayed small because all the money was going to pay off the machine. After seeing his parents go through this, Cullen knew one thing for sure, GreenBroz equipment would have to be affordable for every business, from large corporations to the mom and pops.
