Faculty of Management Herceg Novi started operating in the study year 2009/2010 as a private higher education institution enrolling students in the first year of study. Upon completion of three years of study the student gets a diploma of higher education and academic study of basic management (Bachelor - BSc) and the Diploma Supplement. Postgraduate specialist (Spec.Sc) and MA (MSc) one-year Master’s degree programs in business management are accredited. As part of the Faculty of Management, its basic academic studies, there are four study programs: 1. Tourism and Hospitality 2. Finance, Accounting and Banking 3. Taxes, Duties and Insurance 4. Business Informatics and Electronic Business Since 2012/13 the postgraduate specialist (Spec.Sci) and Master’s (M.Sc) one-year degree programs in business management have started. The mission of the Faculty is to facilitate the transfer of advanced knowledge, methods and scientific techniques that are applied in developed university centers of European countries. In other words, the basic mission of the Faculty of Management is training highly skilled personnel, specialists in certain fields, who give their knowledge to social and economic development and modernization of the local community and Montenegro and find its place in the developed world. The vision of the Faculty of Management of Herceg Novi is to provide the highest position among the equivalent institutions in the country and the region and become a recognizable center of high level quality education in the fields of economics, business economics, and management in tourism and business informatics. In the realization of this vision the Faculty of Management seeks to create such a quality system that will guarantee the effective and efficient monitoring of existing and development of new courses of study, with continuous improvement and implementation of new methods and tools in education.
