Established in 1983, by brothers Don and Jim Shigley, S&S Machine Shop is a custom fabrication and machine shop serving industries mainly located in the Tri-State area. Located in Boonville, Indiana we initially supported numerous local heavy mining operations. Since then we have continued to increase our capacity with facilities (S&S Machine Shop-South opened in Chunchula, Alabama in 2011), staff and equipment to meet the increased demand for our services. Equipped with a wide variety of equipment and an experienced staff, we have worked closely with our customers to improve their existing equipment, design, and build new equipment. We have the capability to do “In-House” design, manual and CNC machining, welding, fabrication, and repairs on a wide variety of equipment, large and small. We’ve worked in several industries including, Aluminum, Automotive, Agricultural, Mining, Dredging, Industrial Construction, Maintenance Components, Steel Mills, Plastics, Rubber Manufacturing, Excavating, Utilities, and the list continues to grow.
