Tethyan Copper Company Pakistan (Pvt.) Limited (TCC) is a joint venture company of two of the world’s leading mining companies; Barrick Gold Corporation of Canada and Chile based Antofagasta PLC. TCC holds the exploration license (EL-5) encompassing the Reko Diq prospects in the Chagai Hills region of South-West Pakistan in which the Government of Balochistan is also a partner. The Reko Diq site hosts copper-gold resource on the Tethyan belt, located in the dry desert conditions of southwest Pakistan within the remote and sparsely populated province of Balochistan.
