Non-profit working with local governments, police, school districts, advocacy groups, and the community to promote and encourage active transportation among students, reduce traffic and environmental degradation around schools, and upgrade infrastructure to improve safety and usability by pedestrians and cyclists. The LG-MS SR2S members and associates have worked together since 2006 to address the “Five E’s” of SR2S programs for the benefit of the students in our community: Evaluation, Engineering, Education, Encouragement, Enforcement. Programs and projects are explored, prioritized, funded and implemented to address safety improvements, reduce traffic speed and congestion, and improve health and the environment, making our community more livable for everyone.
