Heart Tech Plus has a mission to improve physical eduction programs across the county by helping teachers collect objective heart rate and steps data so they can help their students become physically literate and lifelong movers. Heart Tech Plus offers the following: 1) The Sensr 4.0 is worn on the upper forearm, biceps, and/or triceps. It uses Valencell technology to ensure highly accurate heart rate readings. The sensor tracks heart rate, total steps, and steps per minute data. It has 3 zone lights so students will always know what their heart rate range is by glancing at the sensor. The sensor has magnetic charging to decrease management time. 2) Heart Tech Plus has a charging/storage case that is compatible with the Sensr 4.0. This case can charge and/or store up to 30 sensors at once which helps out tremendously with organization and routines. 3) The HTP GROUP app is iOS compatible and is used during class. All data can be projected "live" for students to see. Data can be projected by student nickname or sensor number to help with data privacy. Data that can be projected includes heart rate, MVPA minutes, MVPA percentages, points, calories, and much more. Teachers can set goals so students can earn trophies during class to increase motivation. The HTP GROUP app can be used with the Sensr 4.0's memory feature so you can collect data anywhere. No data will ever be lost! 4) The HTP HOME app is both Android and iOS compatible can be used with students at home. Students can complete workouts outside of class and teachers can see all that data. The HTP HOME app can be used with or without a sensor. 5) The secure Heart Tech Plus web portal allows the teacher, parent, and/or student to see all workout data from both the HTP GROUP app and HTP HOME app. The web portal allows you to set date range reports so you can see data over a period of time. Students can log into the web portal at any time to view their individual data.
