www.associazioneaiden.itThe Italian Energy Law Association (AIDEN) was founded in Milan on July 21th 2015 on the initiative of the promoters, namely professor Natalino Irti (President), professor Laura Ammannati, professor Nicola Bassi, lawyer Piergiuseppe Biandrino, professor Eugenio Bruti Liberati, lawyer Mario Bucello, lawyer Marinella De Focatiis (Secretary), professor Giulio Napolitano, professor Pippo Ranci, lawyer Francesco Sclafani, dr. Dario Simeoli, professor Bruno Tonoletti, professor Aldo Travi, lawyer Eugenio Vaccari. The objectives of AIDEN is to promote, on a multidisciplinary basis, Energy Law both in Italy and abroad, improving the knowledge of this area of Law and fostering meetings and coordination among professors, judges and operators on this field, in collaboration with similar associations founded in other European countries. The activity of AIDEN is ruled by rigorous principles of independence regardless of economic interest. To this aim, the Association takes part in a number of initiatives and projects promoted by Italian and international institutions, organises conferences, debates, seminars and any other kind of cultural meetings; promote the establishment of study committees, manages national and international publications, grants awards and scholarships, and carries out any other activity deemed useful for the knowledge of the Energy Law. The establishment of the Association was inspired by the French Association named “Afden” which for a number of years has been promoting the knowledge and dissemination of Energy Law.
