The Abbey Quarter is being developed into new mixed urban quarter including, office, residential, education, retail and other services on the former Smithwich's Brewery site in the heart of Kilkenny City. Kilkenny Abbey Quarter Development Partnership is a joint venture between Kilkenny County Council and the National Treasury Management Agency as controller and manager of the Ireland Strategic Investment Fund (ISIF). The vision is to create the Abbey Quarter as a natural extension and expression of Kilkenny City and its core creative and historic values while delivering unique new exciting work and living space.
