As an official chapter of DECA U, an international undergraduate business leadership development organization with 25 chapters across Canada, UW DECA recruits and trains students from the University of Waterloo to participate and compete in DECA U events. UW DECA aims to bring professional development opportunities to all faculties within the University of Waterloo. UW DECA hopes to complement the technical prowess of UW students with leadership, teamwork, and communication skills that are essential for every professional, regardless of his/her field of work.
