Ian “Watto” Watson started his Truck Driving School in 1989 in response to the high numbers of people in the North Brisbane area wanting to get a truck license with the help of a local truck driving school. Since then, Ian and his team (including his three sons Haydn, Brendan and Luke) have trained thousands of students to not only get their truck licenses but more importantly equipped them with valuable defensive driving skills, knowledge and confidence. Today Ian Watson’s Driving School is a government accredited Registered Training Office (RTO) and a Q Ride course provider and offers a wide range of training services including: Medium Rigid (MR) Heavy Rigid (HR) Heavy Combination (HC) Multi-Combination (MC) Class (C) Motorcycle (R) Motorcycle (RE) Driving Instructor training Fatigue Management training Defensive Driving training Aims - To provide a goal-oriented, student-centred, beneficial, efficient, enjoyable and an encouraging learning experience for every customer. The underpinning principles are safety, defensive driving and cooperation with other road users.
