The Principal of CDA, Neil Calfee, has spent two decades doing just that for the Public, Private and Higher-Education Sectors. Prior to forming CDA, Neil was Director of Real Estate Development for Arizona State University (ASU) where he was instrumental in crafting successful partnerships between the university and private sector partners to develop over $500 million in equity-funded student housing projects and was also a key player in bringing State Farm insurance to ASU property on Tempe Town Lake. Prior to joining ASU, Neil was a Deputy Director for the City of Tempe Community Development Department where he oversaw the City's Redevelopment efforts as well as Affordable Housing, Historic Preservation and Special Projects. The formation of CDA is a response to needs in the market where clients are looking for assistance and advice from someone with a proven track record of success in areas that are generally not covered by main-line consulting firms.
