Founded in 1991, Lithuanian National Union of Students (Lietuvos studentų sąjunga) is national, democratic, independent and non-governmental organisation that represents interests of Lithuanian students and unites local student unions of higher educational institutions in Lithuania. LSS is the oldest national union of students in Lithuania and nowadays represents 120 thousand students in Lithuania through its 20 full members and 3 observer members in various regions of Lithuania.
