Enter the CDN Healthcare Newsletter. On the surface, Canada might not seem as exciting as our neighbours to the south from a healthcare perspective, but what we lack in digital health unicorns and medical bankruptcies, we make up for in failed faxes, long wait times, and a bureaucratic mess of a system that makes it next to impossible to get anything done. However, within this flawed system, there are cool ideas created every day that if properly supported, could eventually flip the script on this slowly sinking ship (but that’s a big if). The hope with this newsletter is to semi-regularly analyze the good, the bad, and the ugly in Canadian healthcare. This could be anything from deep-dive thought pieces, to interviews, to completely biased, naive takes supported by nothing but gut instinct and memes. But no matter the topic, we’ll do our best to keep it informative, digestible, and entertaining.
