The waves of the 'Natural Hair Revolution' began to cascade into Nigeria between 2012 and 2013 and at that time, there was no salon that catered exclusively to ladies with Natural Hair or 'Naturalistas' as 'we' are fondly called. Even with this lack, the number of women wanting to grow out, groom and effectively maintain their hair by getting advice on the right products and right way to style kept increasing and that is how KLS Natural Beauty Bar emerged. A gap was identified and subsequently filled making us the pioneer Natural Hair Salon in Nigeria. Starting on the 9th of August 2013 as a small salon with 2 stylist chairs and 2 employees, the business has grown to 3 Salons with over 30 staff, includes a Natural Hair Training arm and a Natural Hair product and beard line.
