Established in 1976, Gamuda has steadily built up expertise in three core businesses: engineering and construction, property development and infrastructure concessions. We are proud to be behind iconic and innovative projects such as the Stormwater Management and Road Tunnel (SMART), the world’s first dual purpose tunnel, and Malaysia’s first Mass Rapid Transit (MRT). Gamuda pioneered the country’s first digital industrialised building system, Gamuda IBS, in a move to meet the nation’s objective to adopt sustainable construction practices. The total output of our two factories in Sepang and Banting is 10,000 housing units a year. Our property arm Gamuda Land is an award-winning sustainable town maker, enriching communities with vertical and township developments not only in Malaysia but Vietnam, Singapore and Australia. Gamuda Land is also the only developer in Malaysia to have won The Edge-PEPS Value Creation Excellence Award five years in a row. Our joint venture MMC Gamuda pioneered the Project Delivery Partner (PDP) model for large-scale developments with the Sungai Buloh-Kajang (SBK) Line, delivered in July 2017, and is now also building the Sungai Buloh-Serdang-Putrajaya (SSP) Line, targeted for completion in 2022. Gamuda is also Malaysia's largest intra-urban concessionaire, our highways spanning 110km and serving two million motorists daily.
